Accountabilities
You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, performance, and usability of software systems through structured testing, automation, and collaboration across Agile development teams.
- Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans and test cases for container-based applications.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and domain experts to define test scenarios aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Perform functional, usability, and accessibility testing, ensuring compliance with standards such as Section 508 and WCAG 2.1.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using modern programming and testing tools.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Analyze requirements to ensure complete test coverage and accurate validation of software behavior.
- Document and communicate test results clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, automation practices, and quality standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, with strong focus on test automation and framework development.
- Hands-on experience with programming languages such as C#, .NET, Java, or Python.
- Experience with container-based applications and modern development environments.
- Strong knowledge of test design methodologies, usability testing, and requirements-based validation.
- Familiarity with Agile practices, DevSecOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing workflows.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Git, GitLab, and IDEs like Visual Studio or Eclipse.
- Strong communication skills with ability to document, present, and explain technical findings clearly.
- Experience with accessibility testing standards (Section 508, WCAG 2.1).
- Security clearance eligibility (U.S. citizens only due to project requirements).
- Competitive salary range: $69,000 – $118,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
