About our Team
The Boomi Global Technology Organization serves as the technical arm of Boomi sales, delivering innovative solutions and strategies to solve businesses' integration and data management challenges.
The Boomi Presales team is purpose built to allow our team members to take on new challenges within or outside of the team. We have a 4 year average employee tenure with less than 2 years in career level. Our team is led by former Solutions Consultants who have a working history with every layer of sales leadership which creates a partnership rather than a hierarchy. On our team we don't allow the words "My SC/SE". We have a team-oriented culture that is founded on supporting others in winning business. We care about our people. Accountabilities:

• Run technology experiments for FED Prospects, helping Boomi to create new products and services and integrating the best of these into steady-state operations
• Ensure Boomi's platform is properly aligned to the shared vision
• Build strategic partnerships during the sales cycle by leading analysis of Prospect's future-state architectural capabilities and current IT environment; and recommend Boomi solutions

Responsibilities:

• Develop diagnostic and actionable deliverables that help guide the Prospect's digital technology decisions
• Conduct the appropriate customer health/status checks to deeply understand customer's business initiatives and how Boomi solutions are being implemented
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to provide recommendations on architecture and best practices.
• Collaborate and communicate cross-functionally throughout the organization
• Collect and share identified customer's business initiatives, implementation details, challenges, solutions, etc. and help build assets that can be leveraged by Boomi Sales and Presales teams for new opportunities.

Essential Requirements:

• 10+ years of architecture experience in applications development in a complex, multi-platform distributed environment
• 5+ years experience architecting applications to be deployed in cloud based platforms such as AWS/Google/Azure and expertise in cloud native service offerings
• Experience working with Federal customers, contracts and partners.
• Advanced experience with container orchestration and scalable solutions
• Experience in messaging platforms, protocols, and technologies
• Experience in Automated Configuration Management Tools and Devops services
• Demonstrated experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements
• Demonstrated experience leading highly-available and fault-tolerant enterprise and web-scale software deployments

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree with focus in Computer Science, Management and Information Systems, or equivalent
• Preference given to candidates living in Washington DC area of the US.
