This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Solutions Advisory Director in United States.

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and scale a Solutions Advisory practice that connects enterprise technology investments to measurable business value. You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, shaping strategy, driving client success, and translating complex challenges into scalable, high-impact solutions. The role spans practice leadership, solution development, and go-to-market enablement, with direct influence on revenue growth and client adoption across IT Financial Management, FinOps, TBM, Strategic Portfolio Management, and Workforce Management. You will also build and mentor a high-performing advisory team, collaborate cross-functionally with sales, delivery, and engineering, and represent the practice at industry events to elevate market presence and thought leadership.

Accountabilities:

  • Define and execute the growth strategy for the Solutions Advisory function, aligning offerings with market trends, client needs, and platform capabilities
  • Lead strategic pursuits, new client acquisition, and revenue growth through upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives, translating complex business problems into actionable technology and operational solutions
  • Develop and evolve scalable, repeatable solution offerings across ITFM, FinOps, TBM, SPM, Workforce Management, and Enterprise Architecture
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Delivery teams to execute go-to-market strategies and ensure solution alignment
  • Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing advisory team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning
  • Represent the practice in thought leadership initiatives, conferences, and analyst engagements to strengthen brand visibility
  • Requirements:

    • 10–15+ years of technology consulting experience, with expertise in ITFM, FinOps, TBM, and Strategic Portfolio Management
    • Proven track record in practice building, solution development, and revenue growth
    • Experience leading complex, enterprise-level consulting engagements and multi-stakeholder sales cycles
    • Deep understanding of technology financial management frameworks and value realization methodologies
    • Familiarity with Apptio or similar platforms (preferred)
    • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level executives and other senior stakeholders
    • Strong leadership experience managing distributed, high-performing teams
    • Excellent communication, storytelling, and executive presentation skills
    • Strategic thinking, pre-sales leadership, and talent development capabilities
    • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
    • Willingness to travel up to 40%
