The Role:Â
The Solution Consultant will be a key deal strategist responsible for the following core functions on aligned opportunities:Â
- Serve as a thought leader and resident expert on product offering questions, technical integrations, success stories and general industry knowledge for the sales team and prospective clients
- Partner closely with the sales team to provide strategic guidance in understanding the client's objectives and challenges to provide expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, and RFPs.
- Apply product, market, and competitive knowledge in live meeting support and written communication with prospects
- Designing and delivering product presentations based on the necessities and competitive sales condition.
- Conveying customer requirements to Implementation team, Account Management, and Product Management teams
Additionally, the Solution Consultant will provide key deal and market insights with GTM leadership and the Product Marketing team, helping to shape our products, packaging, and the way we message our solution broadly. Â
The Team:Â
The Solutions Consulting team is a small, highly focused team of seasoned professionals who are trusted advisors to team members in sales, global solutions, product marketing and proposals. With a birds-eye-view across many customers and pursuits, the Solution Consultants identify, apply, and share best practices with their colleagues.Â
Minimum Qualifications:Â
- 5+ years of customer-facing experience in health and benefitsÂ
- Experience supporting sales of similar size and scope to Carrots target opportunities.
- Experience in a high growth, fast changing environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information and messages to a broad and diverse audience.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Ability to travel (travel amount TBD; currently minimal)

Compensation:
Carrot offers a holistic Total Rewards package designed to support our employees in all aspects of their life inside and outside of work, including health and wellness benefits, retirement savings plans, short- and long-term incentives, parental leave, family-forming assistance, and a competitive compensation package. The expected base salary for this position will range from $117,000 - $161,000. Actual compensation may vary from posted base salary depending on your confirmed job-related skills and experience.
