Solutions Design Project Manager

Arvato Supply Chain Solutions is hiring a Solution Design Project Manager. The Solution Design team is responsible for designing supply chain solutions for our clients and is a major contributor to the growth of our company. We design solutions in close cooperation with our clients and colleagues from logistics engineering, operations, account management, transportation management and IT. Due to our continued hyper growth, we are looking for a strong project manager who can take end to end ownership for RFP's. This position is a critical success factor for our growth. You will be working with our clients from day one, working closely with senior management and have global career options.

YOUR TASKS

• You take end to end ownership for RFP's and you drive the RFP to a success. You have an absolute win mentality and desire to meet deadlines.
• You communicate directly with the client and support the business development process.
• You understand the client needs, translate them into functional requirements, design a solution and make sure that the solution will exceed the requirements.
• If the client needs a service that does not exist - you design it. You have full autonomy to make things happen. Saying no is not in your DNA.
• You manage a cross functional team of SME's from logistics engineering, operations, account management, business development, transportation management and IT. You understand, challenge and improve their solution input.
• You communicate with internal stakeholders such as site directors, account VP's and controlling. At times you will also work with our presidents and CEO - this is a high performance role.
• You support the data analytics and make sure we use the insights to design a winning solution.
• To assure that your solution is best in class you work closely with central functions such as future warehouse, digital acceleration and logistics engineering.
• You work closely with the solution design teams from CP, Tech and HealthCare and make sure we leverage global best practices and expertise.
• Cost calculations, price books, client presentations, investment proposals - you are fully in charge.
• You develop an active internal network, across countries and functions. This will help you to drive RFP's to a success.
• Critical thinking is required to manage RFP requirements while meeting deadlines, expectations and managing a cross functional team.

YOUR PROFILE

• Up to 2 years' experience in solution design or project management
• You are very familiar with large Excel cost models and complex formula's
• Experience with Power BI is a big plus
• BS/BA in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Industrial Engineering or Business Administration or Masters preferred
• Ability to work Monday- Friday with overtime as needed
• Ability to travel as needed
