Specialist, Business Retention - Financial Services (Remote)

Job Description Summary
JOB SUMMARY: Assists with the design, building, and implementation of customer, advisor and firm business retention plans with the end goal of improving overall net flow for the business segment(s). Serves as a contact on client, firm, and advisor retention.

Reports to: Director, NF Business Retention
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Gather and conduct data analysis. Use data to determine if retention opportunities exist.
2. Carries out excution plans to improve business retention results.
3. Produces and publishes routine reports (financial, historical, trends, etc.).
4. Conduct and produce regular and ad hoc reports that monitor the activities of current initiatives to determine if metrics are being met.
5. Examines current business retention processes to determine if opportunities for improved retention results can be achieved. Documents, evaluates and recommends potential process improvements or new processes for greater retention results.
6. Documents and writes business cases for business retention opportunities.
7. Compiles monthly scorecard for distribution to broader audience.
8. Supports the Business Development Director team with ad hoc reporting, service, travel planning issues.
9. Works with internal customers to increase awareness of retention team and initiatives.
10. May represent team at meetings throughout organization.
11. Performs other related duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Undergraduate studies in business or finance preferred.
Experience: Minimum of four years of experience in business management, project management, relationship management or sales.
Skills/Competencies: Strong systems, and data analalysis skills. Proficient at Excel, Word and Access. With minimal supervision, can facilitate group discussion with virtual teams. Begins to build relationships with others through the organization.
Knowledge: Working knowledge of sales process, distribution channels, and key stakeholders.
Values: Regularly and consistently demonstrates the Nationwide Values and Guiding Behaviors.

Nationwide utilizes a geographic-specific salary structure. The range for this role in Colorado is$58,500.00 - $89,500.00
Nationwide pays based on a geographic-specific salary structure. The range for this role in Ithaca, New York is$58,500.00 - $120,500.00
