Sr AI Analyst (Remote)

What is My Impact?

As an Sr. AI Analyst, you will work closely with behavioral, data science and technical teams as well as with business stakeholders and academics to identify opportunities and ensure smooth implementation of Large Language Models (LLMs) at our company. You will conduct research and work on developments to advance the capabilities of LLMs such as GPT4, train and fine-tune them using large amounts of textual data and apply expertise in natural language processing to solve language-related tasks. You will also leverage behavioral science insights to help address specific business issues, better understand and predict consumer behaviors, and formulate insight-based recommendations linked to strategic and financial outcomes. You will apply statistics knowledge to analyze data, design experiments, conduct A/B testing, and document results with recommendations needed to make business decisions for continuous improvement.

What are My Key Responsibilities?

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business use cases and integrate LLMs into production systems or applications. Work closely with IT teams and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure accurate and efficient implementation of LLM solutions.
• Design and train deep learning models for various language-related tasks, such as text generation, text summarization, text classification, sentiment analysis, etc. evaluate model performance, and iterate on model designs to improve accuracy and efficiency. Develop presentations to communicate insights and recommendations.
• Perform data extracts using SQL and/or SAS and integrate data across multiple areas of Delivery Systems, including medical, pharmacy, quality and operational transactional systems. Collect, clean, and preprocess large-scale text data for LLM finetuning.
• Conduct research and stay up to date on the latest advancements in NLP, generative AI, behavioral science and related fields.
• Build trusting collaborative relationships with clients of all levels. Identify opportunities to leverage LLMs and behavioral science/economics within company.

What is Required?

• 4+ years related work experience.
• Related Master's degree or additional related equivalent work experience Data Science, Computer Science, Behavioral Science / Economics.
• Experience in one or more core industry sectors, preferably healthcare
• Superb written and oral communication skills with ability to synthesize complex information and communicate it in an engaging way.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and collaboration skills Proficient in programming languages (R, Python, SQL, etc.)
• Ability to engage effectively with a wide range of people, including senior executives, clinicians, sales people, and consumers.
  Capable of balancing priorities of simultaneous projects and demands.

What is Preferred?

• Florida Blue or other Guidewell company experience
• Experience working in health insurance
• PhD in a related field
• Work experience in a health care and/or insurance setting Econometrics
• Desire to continue to improve computational, statistical, behavioral and data science skills

General Physical Demands

Typical Annualized Hiring Range: $111,400 - $139,200

Annualized Salary Range: $111,400 - $181,000

Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
