This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, data analytics, and insurance product performance optimization. You will be responsible for analyzing complex product behavior across assigned states and lines of business, identifying opportunities for growth and profitability improvement. Working in a highly analytical and collaborative environment, you will translate data into actionable insights that shape product decisions and business direction. The position plays a key role in monitoring pricing models, evaluating product performance, and supporting strategic initiatives across cross-functional teams. You will also contribute to the development of new product strategies, tools, and reporting frameworks that improve decision-making at scale. This is a high-impact role where your insights directly influence business outcomes, customer value, and portfolio performance.

Accountabilities:

You will lead analytical efforts focused on improving product performance, profitability, and growth across insurance product lines, while supporting strategic decision-making through data-driven insights.

  • Monitor, analyze, and audit product performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement in assigned markets and product lines
  • Lead end-to-end analytical projects, from defining objectives and methodologies to delivering insights and recommendations
  • Evaluate and compare rating models and pricing approaches to assess accuracy, segmentation, and profitability outcomes
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations that clearly communicate findings and support strategic decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define analysis needs, business objectives, and data requirements
  • Support forecasting, business planning, and product strategy development through advanced analytical modeling and data interpretation
  • Mentor and guide less experienced analysts while contributing to continuous improvement of tools, processes, and methodologies
  • Requirements

    The ideal candidate brings strong analytical expertise, insurance industry knowledge, and the ability to independently manage complex data-driven projects in a fast-paced environment.

    • 5+ years of experience in product management, product analytics, or product development within insurance, financial services, consulting, or related industries
    • Strong background in property and casualty insurance, including pricing, underwriting, and regulatory understanding
    • Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, SAS, R, or Python
    • Experience working with large datasets and translating complex data into clear business insights
    • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to stakeholders and leadership
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or related field (Master’s preferred)
    • Insurance or actuarial certifications (e.g., ACAS, FCAS, CPCU, ARM) are a plus
