Sr Inside Sales Specialist

Reporting to the Sales Team, the Inside Sales Account Executive is responsible for lead
generations and development, management of transactional business, develop and turn
opportunities into orders.

What You’ll Be Doing
Job performance will involve a variety of activities including:
1) Team Contributions: suggest campaigns, write templates and consult with the SDR/FAS
team for content
2) Team Contributions: suggest improvements on procedures and systems
3) Team Contributions: provide buddy support for new starters
4) Team Contributions: suggest educative content for SciFri
● Develop strong rapport with the Sales team
● Identify and develop leads
● Develop Inbound Leads
● Prospect Outbound Leads
● Partner with field sales organization - Develop a joint plan and strategy to meet or exceed
targets
● Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development
and closure
● Focus on strategic opportunities that can drive business in the long- and short-term
(Retargeting, Dormant accounts)
● Contact leads to convert to revenue or hand off to Field Sales Organization
● Close Sales and Achieve Quarterly Targets
● Attend Customer Meetings, Conferences, Tradeshows
● Follow regulatory and ISO 13485 requirements

What You’ll Bring to the Team
● Deep understanding of Next Generation Sequencing

● Excels in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and changing landscape
● Strong attention to detail
● Work with Salesforce.com or other CRM
● 2 or more years Inside Sales Experience or equivalent Sales Experience
● Ability to travel up to 20%
● Solid analytical skills
● Ability to work cross-functionally to drive orders
● Infectious “get it done” attitude

Education
Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S) from four year College or university preferred in Biology or Business
