The Senior Learning & Development Manager reports to the Senior Regional Sales Manager and partners with the NGL sales and marketing organizations to build a learning strategy that addresses the needs of the organization and delivers effective learning plans to drive the sales team to meet and/or exceed their goals!

What you'll do here:
  • Collaborates with Sales & Marketing Leadership to identify training & development opportunities for the sales organization
  • Applies current learning tools, methods and learning design principles to ensure optimal impact and efficacy of learning programs
  • Stays connected to the broader department goals and company initiatives, and incorporates that into a robust L&D curriculum
  • Designs, develops, delivers and maintains training materials for all levels of employees on the NGL Sales team
  • Promotes a culture of continual learning and development and motivates sales teams to use and apply learnings on-the-job
  • Works closely with Talent Acquisition, Marketing, and the Hiring Manager throughout the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new sales employees
  • Monitors progress of new hires and provides continuous coaching
  • Creates plans, in partnership with sales managers, to help employees apply, reinforce and sustain their learning
  • Actively solicits feedback from sales organization and uses that to inform future trainings
  • Analyzes curriculum effectiveness and recommends continuous improvement methods to keep it up-to-date and relevant


Skills you will need here:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, or related experience is beneficial
  • 4-7 years sales and/or training experience
  • Strong sales background with track record of exceeding sales metrics/targets
  • Solid understanding and proficiency of current sales methodologies, processes and sales cycles
  • Experience working with CRM, sales reporting/forecasting tools and product platforms
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize & adapt to change
  • Advanced computer applications skills (specifically, Microsoft Office, video/audio editing tools)
  • Strong leadership, influence, project management, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work with diverse roles, at all levels across the organization
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation/facilitation skills
  • Teammate who is willing to go above and beyond to help others
  • Positive, professional demeanor
  • Ability to travel 20%
