Job Scope:

Leverages an eye for detail and experience to lead, optimize, and operationalize global marketing efforts across all 500 Global regions and functions. Provides insights, recommendations, and tools that most effectively support all content, brand, and marketing execution.



Responsibilities

  • Paint a vision of what marketing, brand, content and media will do for 500, including a roadmap of how the marketing organization should develop its resources, core competencies, OKRs, and milestones.
  • Manage a team and project manage best-in-class global marketing executions across all touch points. This includes hiring, training, inspiring and retaining a SWAT team of brand, marketing and content experts within 500 that will be able to deliver on your vision and strategy.
  • In partnership with HR, support the team in ensuring equitable experiences, strengthening inclusion acumen, and promoting a culture of inclusivity and belonging that embraces the contributions of all team members.
  • Hands-on execution: being a lean team with big ambitions will require you to work alongside your team often, pay attention to details, and be there to build alongside all levels of your team.
  • Work with leadership to ensure the marketing plans, content development and brand evolution drive together with the firm’s business plan.
  • Socialize marketing vision with other leaders in the team to rally support and leverage ‘the full force of 500’. Drive task forces, advise other team leaders, report milestones, wins, and foster cross-team collaboration.
  • Serve as the internal primary point of contact for ongoing marketing initiatives and creative needs.
  • Cultivate and manage external agency relationships.
  • Nurture strategic relationships that compound in collaboration value over time, including but not limited to global agencies, such as media partners, conference organizers, vendors, freelancers or other firms.
  • Drive large-scale campaign activations, ensuring workbacks are appropriately established and adhered to.
  • Lead and manage global, internal marketing and cross functional stakeholder meetings. Run these meetings to ensure the performance of efforts against objectives. Develop consistent data reporting cadence and messaging.
  • Identify recommendations for greater efficiencies among broader marketing team, as well as cross-functionally, and work to implement enhanced operating models as needed.
  • Optimize in real-time when possible, and incorporate learnings into future recommendations and plans. 

Requirements

  • Astute global, cultural awareness.
  • Familiarity and experience with tech, startups, private equity, or venture capital firms, specifically within an organization at a stage of defining growth and scale. 
  • Strategic eye to source and form abundant visions and ideas and strong ability to lead the team to execute on those plans. 
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias. 
  • Evidence of having been a change maker, trailblazer, and pioneer in previous work.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
  • Experience: Eight or more years managing integrated marketing projects, campaigns, and/or marketing efforts; four or more years managing a team and leading stakeholder management while driving growth marketing.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: Master’s in Communications or Marketing; MBA.
  • Experience: Excellent project management skills; Outstanding track record of driving and implementing change; Strong people management capabilities; Incredible attention to detail; Innovative thinker and attuned to evolving marketing best-practices.
