The Opportunity
This position works out of our Livermore, CA location in the Abbott Heart Failure, Acelis Connected Health business. Our Heart Failure solutions are helping address some of the World's greatest healthcare challenges.
As the Senior Manager Operations, you'll have the chance to lead and oversee the INR operations team. You will be responsible for the management, development and growth of the department by focusing on business goals, customer experience and employee engagement. You will also work closely with Senior Management in developing long-term operational strategies that help meet company objectives.
Principle Responsibilities

- Create, implement, and oversee the day to day operations of the department's productivity, operational systems, and processes to ensure they are aligned and on track to meet goals and company and regulatory policies
- Collaborate with other department leads on process efficiencies and strategic planning for current and future goals
- Maximize efficiency and productivity through detailed process analysis
- Set controls, evaluate outcomes, and course correct, when needed
- Analyze current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement where necessary
- Work closely with Human Resources to lead the team with integrity and to establish and maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment
- Work closely with Process and Project Management teams to support current and upcoming projects, serving as a Subject Matter Expert for your area of responsibility.
- Participate in the hiring and training of departmental managers.
- Evaluates and approves department schedule needs and work allocation.
- Communicate and explain new directives, policies, or procedures to department's management team.
- Improve Customer Experience and Satisfaction through process, systems, and policy updates.
- Leads by example with a positive image of the organization.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Director of Business Operations.
Required Qualifications
- Thorough understanding of the business practices and people management.
- Demonstrate verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Practice managerial and diplomacy skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration
- 5 or more years of related experience
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to work sitting down for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work with computer and multiple computer screens for extended periods of time.
- No lifting over 10 pounds required without assistance.

The base pay for this position is
$135,700.00 - $271,500.00
In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
