This role provides a unique opportunity to advance sales excellence by designing, implementing, and scaling customer planning processes enhanced with AI-driven workflows. The Sr. Manager will lead the development of standardized line reviews, joint business planning frameworks, and innovation sell-in processes that drive consistent execution across teams and accounts. This position combines deep commercial expertise with AI fluency to improve speed, quality, and decision-making in customer-facing activities. Success in this role requires strong cross-functional influence, project leadership, and the ability to embed new capabilities across a diverse, high-performing sales organization. The manager will create reusable tools, training programs, and AI-enabled assets that accelerate adoption and measurable performance improvements. This role balances strategic thinking with hands-on implementation, shaping how sales teams operate globally.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop and standardize customer planning processes, including line reviews, category reviews, and joint business planning templates, meeting rhythms, and scorecards.
  • Build reusable libraries of exemplars, guidance modules, and checklists to reduce rework and improve adoption across field teams.
  • Lead the design, deployment, and adoption of AI-enabled tools and workflows to enhance customer planning effectiveness, insight synthesis, and meeting preparation.
  • Implement governance and quality checkpoints to ensure responsible and retailer-safe AI usage in customer-facing outputs.
  • Conduct training, workshops, coaching, and feedback mechanisms to embed best practices across sales and category management teams.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Data/Tech, to ensure scalable AI solutions and effective change management.
  • Monitor adoption, evaluate performance, and continuously optimize processes, toolkits, and AI applications to improve efficiency and outcomes.
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, analytics, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years in CPG commercial roles with experience in Sales Strategy, Commercial Excellence, Category Leadership, or Customer Strategy.
  • Proven success in building and scaling customer planning standards, toolkits, and enablement programs.
  • Strong storytelling and analytical skills to translate insights into actionable narratives for retailers and field teams.
  • Practical AI fluency: able to identify use cases, partner with tech teams, deploy AI-enabled tools, and drive adoption.
  • Demonstrated capability-building and change leadership experience across cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills; able to influence globally under tight deadlines.
