The Sr. Manager, Sales Process & AI Capabilities will lead the design, deployment, and continuous improvement of customer planning standards, processes, and AI-enabled tools that drive sales excellence. This role partners with cross-functional teams to optimize line reviews, joint business planning, and innovation sell-in, ensuring consistency, speed, and quality across customer-facing activities. You will embed AI workflows to enhance efficiency and insight generation while providing training and adoption mechanisms for field and HQ teams. The position requires a strategic mindset, strong commercial storytelling, and the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple segments and geographies. Success is measured by adoption, performance improvement, and the integration of AI-driven capabilities into sales planning. Accountabilities:
Act as a strategic partner to Sales, Category Management, and Market Development leaders to define and embed best-in-class customer planning standards.Design and maintain line review and category review frameworks, including templates, content modules, and quality checkpoints that translate insights into actionable plans.Build and enhance a Joint Business Planning (JBP) operating system, incorporating scorecards, meeting rhythms, governance, and enablement tools.Lead AI-enabled initiatives to improve planning workflows, including insight synthesis, story creation, meeting preparation, and follow-up automation.Develop practical AI enablement assets such as prompt libraries, guidance documents, and templates, and drive adoption across Sales and Category Management.Create reusable libraries of exemplars, modules, and checklists to improve consistency, reduce rework, and increase adoption in the field.Establish training, coaching, and reinforcement programs to support adoption of processes and AI tools across teams and regions.Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Analytics, or related field; MBA preferred.8+ years of experience in commercial roles within CPG, including Sales Strategy, Commercial Excellence, Category Leadership, or Sales Operations.Proven track record in developing and scaling customer planning standards and toolkits (line reviews, JBPs, innovation sell-ins).Strong customer-facing storytelling skills, translating insights into narratives that drive alignment and action.Experience in capability-building, change management, and cross-functional influence to drive adoption of new processes and tools.Practical AI fluency, including identifying use cases, mapping workflows, collaborating with Tech/Data teams, and driving adoption of AI-enabled solutions.Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex work clearly.Ability to lead through influence across functions and geographies, achieving measurable outcomes under tight deadlines.Benefits:
