The role / impact
As a Senior Media Strategy Manager you will lead the development and execution of our in-house media strategy practice. You will focus on crafting mid and upper-funnel digital marketing campaigns that strengthen our brand presence and drive meaningful engagement. By translating regional business objectives into effective media opportunities you will ensure our marketing efforts deliver clear results and help small businesses thrive.
You will play a vital part in shaping how we communicate our value to customers globally. Your work in digital media planning and optimisation will help maximise the return on investment across multiple markets ensuring our brand remains a helpful and beautiful presence in the lives of our community.
The team / how they connect
You will sit within a collaborative environment working closely with regional marketing teams to align media activities with local business goals. The team connects cross-functionally with performance marketing analytics and finance to create a unified view of our marketing impact. Together you will manage external agency relationships to integrate offline and online channels into cohesive global strategies.
The team is currently working on / Initially you will focus on
Integrating offline and online media channels into cohesive plans that leverage the strengths of both platforms.
Developing a media strategy learning agenda and planning principles to be used across regional marketing campaigns.
Partnering with finance and forecasting teams to manage media channel spend and performance projections.
Collaborating with analytics and brand teams to implement and refine brand marketing measurement frameworks.

You bring deep media knowledge across major digital channels including paid social CTV and audio.
You have a background in a tech or SaaS organisation ideally managing media for complex customer journeys.
You possess a thorough understanding of digital media planning buying and optimisation techniques.
You enjoy collaborating across diverse teams to execute complex media plans in various global markets.
You have experience implementing media tracking technologies and using analytics to drive decision-making.
You bring a strategic mindset to managing external agency relationships and performance reviews.

The expected base salary range for this role in:
New York: $153000 to $192000 USD
Individual pay is determined by various factors including geography level of experience and the specific skills you bring to the role.
In addition to base pay Xero’s roles are eligible for the following forms of variable compensation:
Variable Pay: Permanent employees are eligible to participate in our annual bonus and equity (RSU) programs. You may also be eligible for performance-based cash or equity (RSUs) incentives depending on your role level and company performance.
