Responsibilities
- Production support for SAP ECC/EWM/APO/GTS application software.
- Ability to design, develop, test and sustain for a mix of projects, enhancements and break-fix items.
- Mindset to offer improvements in our current processes and design
- Develop software and system support documentation and procedures according to Illumina standards.
- Independent task handling and providing optimum technical solutions to Functional team.
- Conduct technical research with recommendations for action into IT related topics: upgrades, systems, methodologies, software, etc.
- Collaborate effectively with resources working at different geographical locations to accomplish slated objectives.
- Partner with offshore development teams.
- Manage multiple priorities and stakeholder expectations
- Stay abreast of SAP applications development and new technologies
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP and associated technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- List Processing and ALV report programming
- Strong experience in RFC, BAPI, IDoc, Web Services, SAP OData, Proxy services, workflows
- Experience in building Webdynpro applications
- SAP Smartforms and Adobe forms layout set development
- Object Oriented programming
- Enhancement framework
- CPI-DS experience is a plus
- Experience working on onsite offshore model and coordinating work with offshore team
- Strong communication and collaborations skills, to talk to functional teams and writing requirements/Technical Specifications.
- Experience working in SAP modules for Manufacturing, Planning, Logistics, Procurement and Finance.
- Object management using SPDD and SPAU during hot pack and release upgrades
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
Education
- Bachelor's degree required preferably in Computer Science.
