The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for directing and overseeing all phases of multiple commercial construction projects - from pre-construction through closeout. This senior-level role ensures that projects are executed with precision, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, deep industry knowledge, and the ability to guide teams and drive successful project outcomes.
Job Responsibilities:
β’ Lead and manage all aspects of commercial construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, safety compliance, and quality assurance.
β’ Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure effective project execution and communication.
β’ Supervise, support, and mentor project engineers, superintendents, and field staff, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
β’ Proactively monitor project progress and address issues that may impact timelines, costs, or performance.
β’ Ensure adherence to all site safety protocols and regulatory compliance requirements.
β’ Review and approve project documentation such as contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
β’ Review subcontractor pay applications and coordinate with the finance team for accurate and timely project billing.
β’ Track and manage the financial performance of each project, identifying opportunities to improve profitability and mitigate risk.
β’ Conduct regular project meetings with stakeholders and provide clear, concise progress reports.
β’ Collaborate with preconstruction and business development teams to support estimating efforts and client proposals as needed.
Qualifications:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
β’ Minimum of15 yearsof commercial construction experience, with at least3 yearsin a senior-level project management role.
β’ Proven experience managing commercial construction projects valued at$5M+.
β’ Strong knowledge of construction methods, project scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project), and financial systems (Viewpoint Vista).
β’ Proficiency with industry-standard construction software, includingProcore,Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC Build), andBluebeam.
β’ Exceptional leadership, organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.
β’ Ability to build positive relationships and effectively lead diverse project teams under demanding conditions
