The Role

As a Sr Software Development Engineer, you will be crucial in launching and supporting the BeyondTrust SAAS system.  You will be part of a new product delivery and fast-paced team designing, developing, delivering, and maintaining a cloud-based software solution utilizing modern orchestration technologies.   This is a unique opportunity for you to step up as a technical leader in solving cloud-scale challenges and deliver a bar-raising secret management solution as part of the SAAS offering. 

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain highly scalable and resilient full-stack platform components, services, and orchestration.
• Deliver outstanding user experience for complex web-based enterprise applications.
• Contribute to the design of systems and provide technical leadership for projects with increasing complexity.
• Review functional and technical requirements to identify gaps and limitations, propose simplifications, and communicate ideas effectively with cross-functional teams. 
• Be a bar-raiser for delivering results and taking end-to-end ownership individually and as part of a team. 
• Relentless pursuit of high quality by leveraging engineering best practices. 

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years’ experience delivering and supporting enterprise-ready cloud-based systems.
• Solid understanding of modern design patterns.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with the full development lifecycle, including product release in an agile environment.
• Experience working on an Agile team in a continuous integration and development environment.
• Hands-on experience in architecting and developing micro-frontend solutions.
• Proficient in modern JavaScript frameworks with a deep understanding of Angular, RxJS, and NgRx.
• Experience in developing API services and working with scalable microservices architectures.
• Experience with performance optimization techniques for web applications.
• Knowledge with any of C#, Go, or Java.  
• Experience working with AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure public cloud providers.
• Understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery strategies.
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks and end-to-end testing tools.
• Prior experience in security or secrets management solutions is preferred.
