Salary: $90,000-$100,000 (depends on experience)
POSITION PROFILE
Responsible for the overall quality of software used in the ordering and production of medical devices. Works closely with the software development teams to ensure the cloud-based software is validated as specified by Ricoh's quality management system. Manages all aspects of user acceptance testing including test plan creation, tester training, test execution, and test reporting. Assists the application developers in reproducing defects and collecting the data needed to fix the defects. Implements a fully automated testing process.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Writes user acceptance test plans to verify cloud-based applications used to order and manufacture 3D anatomical models.
- Trains and manages the testers responsible for executing the user acceptance test cases.
- Reviews and provides feedback on user stories, specifications, test plans, test cases, and test reports created by Ricoh's vendors.
- Executes the vendor sprint test cases to confirm the user story acceptance criteria has been fulfilled.
- Develops and documents test procedures of varying scope and complexity for implementation into standardized group testing procedures.
- Continually looks for opportunities to increase efficiency and productivity within the scope of responsibilities.
- Analyzes data from a wide variety of sources and interprets the implications to the project. Communicates recommendations based on sound logical judgment.
- Actively participates in development status meetings with outside vendors.
- Works with the application developers in diagnosing problems.
- Validates and prioritizes defect reports.
- Maintains the defect tracking database.
- Follows established procedures to ensure project completion meets deadlines.
- Responds to critical internal and external issues and requests as needed
- Verifies the proper operation of API endpoints using tools such as Postman or Insomnia
- Completes test reports and other paperwork as necessary.
- Automates the testing process using Selenium and other test automation tools.
- Develops and maintains utilities used to generate test case input data.
- Uses Jira to document the software lifecycle.
- Automates data collection from API endpoints using Microsoft Power Automate or equivalent.
- Assists the production team in validating off the shelf software.
- Enters project documentation for approval into Ricoh's quality management system.
- Plans and execute performance tests.
- Evaluates the output of SAST/DAST tools and prioritizes the defects to be fixed.
- Configures S3 buckets in the AWS development and UAT instance.Installs, configures, and maintains iConnect Access software used to create anatomical models.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)
- Requires Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 to 7 years working as a software or test engineer.
- Proficient in an object-oriented programing language and a scripting language.
- Knowledge of Amazon Web Services or equivalent.
- Experience working in a QMS, or FDA regulated environment.
- Familiarity with standards such as ISO 9000, ISO 14971, ISO 13485, and 21CFR.
- Understanding of HIPAA requirements.
- Prior experience using Jira to manage a software project.
- Knowledge of the Pega low-code development platform preferred.
- Experience automating the testing of at least one web application.
- Proficient at writing test plans.
- Knowledge of test methodologies and their corresponding tools.
- Experience with standard business software required.
