This role is focused on building and scaling a modern, high-performance ad-tech platform that powers digital media operations for agencies and brands. You will work across the full stack, contributing to both front-end experiences and backend systems that support planning, reporting, and financial reconciliation at scale. Operating in a fast-paced product environment, you will take ownership of features from design through production deployment, ensuring reliability, quality, and long-term maintainability. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver impactful solutions that simplify complex media workflows. This is a highly autonomous role where strong technical judgment, curiosity, and leadership directly shape product direction and user experience.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable production-grade software across front-end (React) and backend (Ruby on Rails and supporting services) systems
• Lead end-to-end development of features, from technical design and implementation to deployment and post-release ownership
• Develop robust, high-quality user experiences that support media planning, reporting, and financial reconciliation workflows
• Contribute to system architecture and data modeling decisions to ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and product features
• Ensure code quality through best practices in testing, code reviews, and modern development standards
• Leverage modern engineering workflows, including AI-assisted development tools, to improve efficiency and delivery speed
• Support continuous improvement of engineering practices, system reliability, and platform performance

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in production environments
• Strong expertise in React and modern JavaScript for building scalable front-end applications
• Solid experience with Ruby on Rails and backend service development
• Strong understanding of system design principles and data modeling concepts
• Experience working across full-stack systems in cloud-based environments
• Familiarity with modern development workflows, including AI-assisted coding and debugging tools
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across product and engineering teams
• Demonstrated ownership mindset with the ability to drive projects independently from conception to delivery
• Bonus: experience with Spring Boot or Quarkus, or exposure to ad-tech environments
• Bonus: familiarity with distributed systems and messaging tools such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
