About the Role
As an Account Manager, you'll own customer interactions within Platform Science’s marquis existing account base. This is an exciting and dynamic role in which you will build a strong pipeline, develop effective and specific account plans, represent the entire range of both internally developed and third party applications solutions, and ensure revenue target delivery and balanced growth. In this role you will develop relationships deep and wide and become a Trusted Advisor through the identification and qualification of value-based solution sales. You will also be responsible for contract renewals and expansion revenues. This is an integrity based sales role within an organization that emphasizes adding value to the customer for a longer term strategic goal, not just a short term gain. We are looking for people who are passionate about effecting change and creating true value for their customers.
Essential Responsibilities
- Identifying and owning existing customer engagements including: opportunity identification, qualification, process management, account management, contract renewals, and deal negotiation.
- Build strong relationships with third party solution partners in the marketplace and support sales efforts.
- Establish a strong working knowledge of both in house and third-party partner solutions including features, benefits and advantages.
- Identify ROI based sales opportunities through solution mapping to address customer pain points within the existing account base.
- Generate Expansion sales revenue through sales of both Platform Science and third-party partner solutions.
- Responsible for existing account contract renewals and price increase (as necessary) to support business and retention goals.
- Meet sales objectives within existing accounts.
- Work closely with internal departments, including but not limited to: field engineering, program management, solutions engineering, finance, and fulfillment.
Experience
- 5+ years in Enterprise SW and/or SaaS sales or account management experience
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions to address customer needs
- Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
- Thrives in a fast-growing environment, comfortable with ambiguity
- Great at leading a team, while also confident being an army of one
- Experience with commercial transportation solutions or vehicle telematics preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Detail oriented, self-disciplined, energetic, looking for a career with purpose
- Strong presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Salesforce.com, Google Suite, Zoom, SalesLoft/Outreach, etc.
- Travel up to 50+%

This is an exempt role. Our job titles for each posting may span across more than one job level. The estimated base salary for this role is between $120,000 and $150,000. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target range for new hire base salaries across all US locations. Compensation packages are based on many factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, work experience, relevant trainings and certifications, business needs, market demands and specific geographical location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for commission, equity, and benefits.
