The Opportunity

This position works out of our Alameda location in the Diabetes Care Division. We're focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We're revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.

As the Senior Brand Manager, Global Brand & Campaign you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and management of the global creative promotional campaign(s) for the FreeStyle Libre system; including campaign(s) that target all persons living with diabetes, regardless of type; as well as healthcare provider (HCP) campaign(s).

What You'll Work On

  • Own the global creative platform and creative campaign(s) process for consumers and HCPs.
  • Create and maintain core agency relationships.
  • Ensure campaign development and execution align with the brand strategy while allowing localization per Area and/or country.
  • Understand the brand purpose, mission, strategy, and brand foundations.
  • Pressure test any new ideas, campaign deviation requests, etc., to ensure they align with the brand strategy.
  • Create and own the internal relationship with Global Market Insights to coordinate campaign market research in key markets, feedback consolidation, and reporting to leadership.
  • Work cross-functionally to align key stakeholders, including legal and compliance, Area and key country marketing, Global marketing, and leadership.
  • Partner with other internal departments to plan and develop necessary campaign assets.
  • Translate Commercial Needs and overall Brand Strategy into creative campaigns Reports directly to Brand Marketing Manager.
  • Coordinate interdependencies of different workstreams to develop the branded promotional campaign(s)
  • Develop and manage the creative platform and creative campaign(s) implementation guidelines
  • Collaborate with Market Research to capture Consumer Insights in developing Creative Campaigns and messaging
  • Develop tactical plans and lead the team to execute on time and with excellence
  • Anticipate and identify problems and develop solutions using creativity and innovation
  • Manage Marketing budget, ensuring plans are executed within budget
  • Partners with creative and strategic agencies

The salary range for this position is 118, 100 - 236,100K based on experience.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors Degree with at least 4-6 years related experience, with at least one year of experience in marketing or product management, or MBA with 1-3 years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in promotional marketing
  • Extensive experience planning and developing creative campaigns, understand the brand purpose, value proposition, and strategy, and know how to work cross-functionally (Product, CRM, Digital Marketing, Legal, OEC, Finance, Advertising agency, etc.)
  • Proven ability to build relationships and navigate complex, external organizations to identify internal champions and influence decision-makers
  • Strong negotiation skills, with an emphasis on driving partner value
  • Excellent contract review and management skills
  • Strong collaborator who can build relationships across the organization
  • Ability to context switch and ramp up quickly on new topics
  • Clear communication, structured thinking, organization, and project management skills
  • Experience working with creative and strategic agencies
