Job Description:

Are you all about numbers? Do you enjoy taking the chaos of data and making sense of it all? Merkle is looking for an Sr. Manager of Analytics & Data Strategy to join the team. Reporting to the VP of Analytics & Data Strategy, you represent the data and analytics thinking and POV on project teams, and with our clients. You will define the data-driven, multi-source analytics approach to develop audience and behavioral insights to power recommendations and solutions that answer our client's challenges and needs. You will develop a measurement strategy to define success metrics and tracking requirements, and how that data can be used to personalize experiences.

Responsibilities:
  • Be an important partner for the client and our teams by implementing conceptual data frameworks and developing marketing strategies
  • Collaborate with teams to develop end-to-end solutions for global clients by bringing a hybrid lens of analytical thinking and creative strategy to develop audience insights, inform creative campaign planning, and define the measurement and testing optimization approach and the reporting strategy.
  • Transform quantitative finding into relevant insights through strategic storytelling
  • Articulate and present insights and strategies rooted in data for new business, contributing to the growth of the agency
  • Manage efficient execution of projects, including the implementation of best practices
  • Coach, lead junior team members to activate their existing skills and inspire growth, learning and development


Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in analytics or strategy
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Operational Research.
  • Practical analytics experience with big data (SQL, R, Python) and developing business recommendations
  • Strong client and partner relationships
  • Comfortable leading conversations and driving product development based on data requirements
  • Experience with modern statistical learning methods (regression techniques, classification models, supervised and unsupervised learning)
  • Understanding of Salesforce is preferred


Additional Information:

The anticipated salary range for this position is $94,000 - $146,000. Salary is based on various factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
