Job Summary

The Senior DEI & Culture Specialist is a key member of the Diversity, Culture & Inclusion (DEI), Culture and Employee Experience (DCX) team. This position will play a central role in implementing and facilitating the execution of DEI strategies for F&G and its employee resource groups (ERGs) and will work closely with the VP, DCX to execute the company’s diversity, equity and inclusion strategic plan

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support Employee Resource Group leaders and the DEI Advisory Council in the facilitation of inclusion-related activities including regular meeting planning and assistance with organizing internal and external events.
  • Develop, design and implement DEI competency model which will outline F&G’s DEI behavioral anchors/norms.
  • Collaborate with Manager-Culture & Employee Experience and HR COEs in implementing F&G’s DEI competency model, developing a robust sourcing and recruitment strategy that attracts diverse talent, and talent initiatives that foster an inclusive culture.
  • Partner with the Manager, Culture & Employee Experience to determine best practices to influence DEI across the experience in the employee lifecycle, ensure credible measurements of DEI throughout the employee lifecycle and determine focus areas for DEI using F&G employee data.
  • Assist with the development and delivery of inclusion-related and culture sustainability content and programming for all firm stakeholders.
  • Develop and/or improve inclusion strategies as needed to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion at F&G.
  • Maintain and improve the database of company diversity information and provide analytical reports and statistics regarding demographic information, as needed.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of F&G’s Annual DEI report providing metrics and measurements to assess the impact of company’s DEI strategies.
  • Develop F&G’s DEI-related sponsorship strategy including the coordination of the preparation and submission of firm sponsorships, participation in annual industry surveys, and obtaining certifications including the Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index.
  • Assist the VP, DCX to analyze and review the ROI of the investment in DEI efforts relative to business performance and goals; show how differentiated investments in DEI drive innovation, growth, and scalability.
  • Research trends and data-informed practices in the diversity, equity, and inclusion space, and sharing relevant information as appropriate.

Experience and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required with studies in Human Resources or related areas preferred.
  • 4+ years of proven work experience in Human Resources, with at least 1 year supporting DEI efforts at an organization.
