Our Des Plaines, IL headquarters has an opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our FP&A finance team. The position supports the Abbott Molecular headquarter functions and is integral to supporting the success of the global FP&A organization through detailed financial analysis, business partner support, strategic projects, and ad hoc reporting and analysis.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

The Senior Financial Analyst is an individual contributor with comprehensive knowledge in the finance space.

• Manage Global Functions' budgets and provide business partnership support.
• Consolidation of financial planning (quarterly forecasts/LBEs) and actuals reporting.
• Collaborate with Global finance teams to prepare and consolidate quarterly Forecast/LBE submissions while meeting internal division and corporate deadlines.
• Support various ad hoc analytics and monthly reporting for Finance Controller and Senior Management Staff.
• Perform system maintenance necessary for Forecast/LBE cycles and actuals reporting.

• Serve as financial system SME to understand and utilize planning and forecasting system to provide ad hoc analysis and support to global finance teams across regions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, YOU'LL BRING:

• 3-5 years of professional experience within finance.
• Associates degree required; Bachelor's degree in finance / accounting strongly preferred.

PREFFERED

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (emphasis in Excel and PowerPoint).
• Prior experience with financial systems preferred (SAP, HFM, TM1, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details.
• Positive attitude and a self-starter with the ability to work independently across various levels of management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

The base pay for this position is

$71,300.00 - $142,700.00
