 About the Position 

At G-P we’re in high-growth mode – we've doubled in size last year and plan to continue this pace for the next five years. Given our aggressive charter, we’re looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Front-End Developer who thrives in a fast-paced environment. As the Senior Front-End Developer, you’ll work closely with the Sr. Manager, Web Strategy on Web Development including creating WordPress websites & solutions, development of new features, JS framework strong knowledge, self-service tools, API’s tools, and take challenges for our multi-regional marketing team. 

Growth is in our mandate, and we need you to do it.  

What You’ll Do 

• Develop web applications utilizing frameworks and different libraries (jQuery, Next.js, React, GSAP, Angular, SASS, PHP, JavaScript, API; etcetera)
• Creating responsive WordPress themes using our environment, coding standards and workflows 
• Creating extendable WordPress plugins based on specifications
• Creating stunning animations & interactions using Greensock/GSAP
• Create accessible, semantically correct, and responsive WordPress themes and plugins that function properly across all major browsers and devices
• Collaborate closely with UX and UI teams to ensure that the application adheres to the visual specification, and that the user interactions meet with the designed user flows and journeys
• Write maintainable and functional code, adhering to company development standards and guideline.
• Design high quality software solutions, using reusable components and design patterns when possible.
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams

What We’re Looking For  

• 5+ years of experience in Front-End web development focusing on WordPress. 
• Coding experience in HTML5, CSS3, PHP, MySQL and JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as Next.js, jQuery, Node.js, and React), microservices, API’s and other preferable libraries
• Advanced knowledge on CSS Frameworks: Bootstrap, Tailwind; SASS, etcetera
• Advance knowledge on JavaScript animation & interaction with GSAP, and other libraries
• Expert integrating with API endpoints.
• Experience creating & expanding WordPress themes & plugin functionalities (customizable); also experience on Headless WordPress (REST API)
• Experience in WordPress performance, security & optimizations
• Experience on WordPress Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), Custom Post Types, and advanced WordPress customization
• Experience building mobile friendly, responsive websites.
• Experience using Git version control.
• Familiarity creating mockups with SEO in mind. 
• Q&A testing experience
