Sr. Global Payroll Equity Specialist

About this position:

The Senior Global Payroll and Equity Specialist is a valued member of the Global payroll team. This role will collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to advise and coordinate on payroll processing requirements of taxable and/or reportable equity events in multiple countries. Additionally, this role will oversee the end-to-end semi-monthly payroll process in the US & Canada.

Reports to the Senior Director, Global Payroll

What you can expect to do: 

• Process assigned country semi-monthly or monthly global payroll to ensure accurate and timely payments, required country reporting, & payroll tax filing.
• Review and understand company policies, country, state/province, and local laws to ensure the payroll process is aligned with Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) level compliance
• Partner with Finance, People Resources, Benefits, and Operations to ensure accurate and timely payroll payments and reporting.
• Oversee the system equity tickets and communicate to payroll team processors on required actions and taxation requirements for taxable events, ensuring compliance with country tax regulation and reporting with guidance from Sr Director and third-party vendors.
• Reconcile and complete cycle variance reports for the next-level approver
• Review and assist in employee payroll queries to resolve issues through the service desk and ticketing system
• Work with internal and external audit teams on quarterly and annual payroll audit requests

What we are looking for: 

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional work experience
• Global experience in payroll and equity processing for 1000+ employees
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Strong analytical skills, written/verbal communication skills; problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.

• Must be a self-starter, flexible, and able to work on a time-sensitive fast-paced schedule
• Excellent time management, planning, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to bring innovative analysis to projects and drive process improvements.
• Strong work ethic and integrity to safeguard private and personal data

• Experience in global payroll platform/systems such as Workday, ADP, and/or Celergo/Streamline
• Experience in equity platforms/systems such as Solium, Fidelity, and EEO
