The Opportunity

DAT is looking for a strong Sr. IT Engineer to join our Engineering team in Beaverton, Oregon.

DAT is currently looking for a Sr. IT Engineer to join our growing technical team and drive the evolution of our technology infrastructure and end-user experience. Candidates should be comfortable working in an office environment, managing high-level critical internal applications, and employee user infrastructure.

You should possess a working understanding of networking concepts and modern endpoint security tactics and tools within both major OS platforms.  Great candidates will have experience driving change and seeing technical projects through to completion, and relaying project milestones to senior and executive-level management.

What You’ll Do

• Manage primary internal end-user infrastructure, including Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 services.
• Technical and strategic project work focused on improvements to our endpoint infrastructure in a variety of operational areas for our internal end-user environment.
• Maintaining and evaluating our working environment and determining key changes, implementing solutions, and establishing best practices for supporting teams.
• Working with our internal Security teams to establish hardened solutions for our end users’ internal environment.
• Responding to internal infrastructure incidents and emergencies.
• Acting as an escalation point for higher-level issues presented to our Service/Help Desk teams.
• Establishing guidelines for supporting the team’s documentation, reviewing and revising documentation for both IT Team and supporting the Service/Help Desk.
• Maintaining business continuity for all sectors of our business through high availability environments, establishing, implementation or delegation of remediation plans.

The Skills and Experience You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher, Technology/Computer Science preferred
• Strong verbal and text-based communication skills
• Certifications preferred
• Okta SSO, SAML / OIDC Configuration
• Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 Environment, Configuration and Management
  5 years scripting experience (Python, Bash, Powershell) preferred
• 5 years Enterprise IT Experience minimum.
• Experience interfacing with executives is a plus.
• You should possess a working understanding of networking concepts and modern endpoint security tactics and tools within both major OS platforms. 
• Great candidates will have experience driving change and seeing technical projects through to completion, and/or direct executive support experience.

Bonus Skills

• Automox and Crowdstrike platform experience
• Contact Center management and configuration experience.
