As our Sr. IT Support Specialist- Audio/Visual you will...
Be Accountable and Responsible
For being the first line of support for all meeting related activities that require a technology component. You will work with the users of our agency to ensure that all high level meetings, such as company wide town halls and prominent client meetings are scheduled, set up, moderated and produced using our various tools to the highest level of support.Â
- Ensuring that AV hardware and software is prepared to meet the needs of the organization
- Offering plans and advice for live audio and video events, including broadcasts, conferences, and so on.
- Operating the master controls of AV systems during events as needed
- Maintenance, troubleshooting and problem-solving of hardware and software
- Ensuring the production and updating of AV documentation such as user guides.
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships – “single face to the vendor” for all Audio and Visual hardware and software or services.Â
- Escalate and manage critical problems to third-party vendors or other members of the agency IT Team as necessary.
- Manage all conference room build outs and upgrades.
- Manage migrations for hardware and services
- Assist with testing of new hardware, software and network technologies.
- Using MERGE systems, build and manage training for video conferencing and audio visual systems for end users.
- Work with the IT Communications team to ensure proper and timely updates on features and hardware.
These are the qualifications we’re looking for
- 5+ Years’ experience in the Audio-Visual industry
- Understanding AV technologies and IT systems on a technical level
- Awareness of the latest trends, hardware, and features in AV equipment
- Familiarity with graphics, encoding and video editing software
- Experience with both Mac and Windows operating systems and software
- Interpersonal, delegation, and teamwork skills.
- Experience working with and supporting Google Meet and Zoom Meetings Applications specifically, including all meetings management settings
- Experience with LAN software, Mac and Windows Hardware
- High level of emotional intelligence centered on empathy, selflessness, and positivity
- Certifications - preferred but not required:
- AVIXA CTS-I
- Creston
- Extron
- Zoom Phone
- Zoom Meetings
- Google Meet
