We are currently looking for a SR. Manager 4R IT-IS Solutions to join our team at our North America Marketing team in Franklin, TN.
Job Summary:
The SR. Manager 4R IT-IS Solutions is responsible for designing, standing up, deploying, and maintaining Nissan North America's 4R future-state data management and technology solutions platforms in the Region to support the 15-Year Vehicle Lifecycle Management Program Vision, track & trace, Recovery and Reconfiguration of battery Packs and Modules, Recycling raw material input Manufacturing, and integrated algorithm based asset life cycle value stream optimization decision making, in support of reaching the Company's Global Goal of Carbon Neutrality. Using global best-practices this role will be directly responsible for setting up the entire IT-IS Technical Architecture and Solutions Infrastructure for the Region's 4R Business Unit, leveraging current assets and capabilities where possible.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, build, implement-deliver, and manage 4Rs Technology Strategy & Solutions roadmap to 2030 and beyond. Mapping 4R business requirements to flexible & agile solutions.
- Lead 4R IT-IS business requirements and coordination between NNA Digital and other business areas including Global coordination as required.
- Collaborate with the balance of 4R and Nissan Americas' groups and partners to fully understand the E2E business needs and translates those into data platform deliverables.
- Review and selection of software, hardware, and application solutions required to deliver 4R's 2030 Strategy & Business Plan.
- Makes in-sourcing and out-sourcing decisions. Review, selection, and management of 3rd party solutions providers required to support build-out 4Rs IT-IS data, software, and solutions environment. Creation and execution of RFPs/statement-or-work. Oversight of internal IT projects for quality, cost and delivery of IT-IS solutions.
- Development, deployment, and maintenance of 4Rs E-Commerce Market Place solution including API integration. Work with Market Place provider to establish a digital roadmap for platform and feature enhancements. Establish framework to assess customer satisfaction with platform performance and customer satisfaction with feature, function and ease of use.
- Develop and Deploy application solutions critical to 4R success such as new forecasting and asset valuation and management tools, real-time pricing and inventory valuation, multi-channel product demand-to-use allocation, etc. using speed-to-market agile approach.
- Creation and management of 4Rs data warehouse, data platform/analytics solution including integration with existing internal host systems, battery production application serial # to VIN, vehicle on-board telematics data, warranty/recalls and external entities through APIs - Battery pack/module customer sales tracking a detailed VIN-Serial # level.
- Development of financial business case(s) and investment proposals for executive leadership. Obtain E-Decide approvals where need. Digital platform IT-IS 3-5 year budget roadmap for capex & expense
- Responsible for 4R IT-IS budget, P&L, and the hiring, management, and development of 4R IT-IS staff resources.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Job Knowledge and Skills: Proven experience in collaboration and turning business requirements into system deliverables. Understanding of vehicle telematics systems, FOTA, and data extraction including 3rd party provider solutions. Deep understanding Agile processes for solutions design and implementation. Knowledge of database (Oracle, Sequel) and UX application solutions (Tableau, Micro Strategy), Background in Automotive and/or Electric Vehicle-battery Industry a plus, Previous experience developing and presenting technical solutions strategies to Executives.
2.Years of Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience leading IT-IS implementation and transformation project. Start-up experience a plus
3. Education: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology solutions design and development, Tech-Stack architecture design and implementation, Digital solutions project management or equivalent
