Sr. Organizational Change Management Consultant
Job Description
GEICO is seeking a Sr. Organizational Change Management Consultant; you will be pivotal in developing engaging and impactful change plans as we transform GEICO Tech and roll-out new technologies to the business. You will help drive our insurance business transformation as we transition from a traditional IT model to a Tech organization with engineering excellence as its missionÂ
The Sr. Organizational Change Management Consultant will shape and implement our internal Tech change strategy, ensuring alignment and consistency across Field Engineering and the larger GEICO organization. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Engineering Operations, you'll have the opportunity to make a tangible impact on our growing team's tech change landscape. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, dynamic environment and can adapt quickly to meet the needs of our stakeholders.Â

Roles & ResponsibilitiesÂ

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support the development and execution of change plans for various tech initiativesÂ

Develop comprehensive change management strategies and plans to support organizational initiatives and objectivesÂ

Identify stakeholders and establish strong relationships to gain support and buy-in for proposed changesÂ

Assess the impact of changes on various stakeholders and develop strategies to address resistance and mitigate risksÂ

Create and execute communication plans to keep associates informed about upcoming changes, rationale and potential impactÂ

Design and deliver tech training programs to equip associates with the skills and knowledge needed to adapt to new ways of workingÂ

Monitor and track the progress of change initiatives, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure successful implementation

Establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of change efforts and track outcomesÂ

Analyze feedback and lessons learned from previous change initiatives to continuously improve tech change management processes and practicesÂ

Help identify and address OCM related risksÂ

Collaborate with tech Project Leads to advocate for business partner needs and mitigate risksÂ

Basic QualificationsÂ
-
Bachelor’s DegreeÂ
-
5+ years proven experience in OCM, preferably in Tech or a fast-paced environmentÂ
Â
Preferred Qualifications Â
-
Experience driving initiatives tied to cultural or technology changeÂ
-
Excellent presentation and facilitation skillsÂ
-
Exceptional written and design skillsÂ
-
Strong interpersonal skills, enabling you to build and nurture relationships across all levels of the organizationÂ
-
Proven time and project management skills with experience managing projects spanning across multiple stakeholders Â
-
Ability to balance independent work with team collaboration to drive projects forwardÂ
-
Ability to analyze data to inform change recommendationsÂ
-
Certified in Prosci is a plusÂ

Annual Salary
$71,028.75 - $165,008.35
The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
