Sr. Product Manager
SamCart is looking for a collaborative, strategic, and passionate Sr. Product Manager with SaaS experience to lead our Growth team with emphasis on accelerating customer activation, retention and reactivation. You will join a cross-functional team of marketing leaders, designers, engineers and QA to help grow our customer base of digital product sellers . In the process, you will build meaningful relationships across our organization, earning the trust you need to take moonshots. This work will dramatically impact SamCart 's growth, revenue, and success, and empower our customers to grow their businesses on SamCart .
Responsibilities
  • Learn about and become an expert in our business through building relationships with senior executives and company leadership, interviewing customers, performing qualitative and quantitative research, and collecting and analyzing data.
  • Work within the Growth team to optimize sales and marketing activities and onboard customers onto the SamCart platform.
  • Identify opportunities to improve our platform's ability to drive/increase e-commerce sales, and develop innovative products to capitalize on and maximize those opportunities.
  • Conduct continuous experimentation to develop and validate new hypotheses and ensure positive impact on product KPIs.
  • Advance the SamCart platform to reliably support sales and marketing activities (yes, we're using SamCart to sell SamCart!) and potentially productize capabilities for use by our customers.

Qualifications
  • Track record of driving growth in a SaaS environment from a Product perspective.
  • Ability to craft a compelling vision and gain support and alignment from cross-functional partners.
  • Experience working and partnering with senior stakeholders and sales/marketing executives.
  • Expertise in modern product discovery and delivery techniques.
  • Data-driven by default, with demonstrated proficiency using analytics and A/B testing tools to influence decision-making. Deep analytical ability, comfort working with and manipulating data, building hypotheses, and identifying high leverage opportunities
  • Experience conducting growth-related experiments with the ability to operationalize new sales and marketing approaches in existing platforms.
  • Be a driving force within the company, actively contributing to cross-team customer activation/retention/reactivation strategy formation and execution
  • A flexible mindset that is open to change and new information.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit; a self-starter who thrives in a fast paced environment, deals well with ambiguity and focuses on driving impact
  • At least 4 years of professional product management experience at modern technology or SaaS companies
