About this team and role:

Fakespot is now part of Mozilla, where our mission to bring trust and transparency back to the eCommerce space is now aligned with ensuring the Internet is a global resource, open and accessible to all. Fakespot leverages machine learning and other state-of-the-art technologies to automatically filter out spurious reviews of products and vendors so consumers can make informed purchasing decisions based on real feedback by real people.

What you’ll do: 

• Design and develop product strategy for products and features that help user protect themselves online
• Collaborate with engineers, user experience, and other cross-functional teams to define and deliver product roadmaps

What you’ll bring: 

• 5+ years of experience in software product management
• Experience working with consumer facing technology
• Track record of experimentation and contributing to effective go to market activities
• First-hand experience launching software products to a new customer segments
• Vast experience as a technologist with the ability to communicate at multiple depths about privacy, security, and internet technologies
• A bias towards experimentation, but not afraid of making a decision.
