Role Summary

The Partnerships Product Manager plays a critical role in the success of the Card product by delivering savings to our customers through partnerships. This role owns the product strategy, roadmap, technical onboarding, and ongoing operations of our Partners. The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience working with external stakeholders, businesses, and technology teams, proven success delivering technical integrations, and an entrepreneurial mindset to invent solutions that foster customer growth and increase partner participation.

As Senior Product Manager, Partnerships you will work closely with partners to build innovative technology solutions that increase participation and drive Motive Card growth. You’ll need to quickly develop expert knowledge of our customers, our offerings, and the market.  In return, you’ll receive visibility across the organization and will be a key voice in one of the most exciting companies in the transportation industry. Responsibilities:

• Set out the vision and roadmap for our Partnerships for the Motive Card.
• Build and manage partnerships and strategic alliance strategies, in close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Design, evaluate and pursue first-of-a-kind partnerships with industry leaders
• Manage a portfolio of partners, including owning the end-to-end relationship and maintaining senior executive-level contacts
• Drive business reviews with partners and ensure the delivery of high impact results
• Provide thought leadership for quickly evolving high priority initiatives, in partnership with Product and Engineering teams
• Develop innovative solutions and drive the partnership strategy. 
• Drive group alignment around product features to efficiently onboard and manage partnerships.
• Develop and articulate metrics, requirements, goals, and features to all relevant stakeholders.
• Develop product documentation including product requirement documentation, wireframes and process flows.
• Partner with business leaders from stakeholder teams on formulation and execution of the digital strategy, vision and product roadmap.
• Partner closely with our design team to design product features that turn our customers into raving fans.
• Partner closely with engineering to quickly and iteratively ship code that has a very high success rate.
• Actively contribute to an amazing work culture.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience with Product Management
• Domain expertise in developing and managing technical relationships is a strong plus. 
• High customer empathy, with a desire to get in the shoes of our customers
• Have high “EQ”; be even-keeled, flexible, and able to quickly adapt to unexpected changes
• Proven experience in delivering commercially successful software products
• Be data-driven; you regularly seek out and use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and opinions
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with different personality types and seniority levels
• Have enough technical knowledge to enough to gain the respect of software engineers
• Experience working effectively with remote/offshore teams
• Experience in agile product development.
• Knowledgeable in APIs, data structures, SQL, and developing reporting.
