Our Des Plaines, IL site has an opportunity for a Senior Specialist Project Management - PMO team

The Senior Specialist Project Management will manage one or more projects with moderate complexity. Expedite, manage, and coordinate a multitude of interrelated

activities within constraints of limited human and financial resources and changing priorities. Complies with quality system.

• Recognize the broader implications of actions and proposals on the final project outcome

• Prepare and present project progress reports to keep management and team informed. Identify problems and work

to resolve them.

• Analyze date for true causes of problems

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Coordinate input from multiple areas or multiple project managers on related projects.

• Develop project objectives and strategies, develop timelines and milestones. Utilize project scheduling software to plan

and track projects. Develop design and development plan.

• Identify resource requirements, cost, and time schedules. Develop an implementation plan, conduct risk assessments and

develop contingency plans to accommodate unforeseen events.

• Translate project goals into project tasks. Define the nature of the stated business or technical problem.

• Anticipate future problems, resolve current issues, and adjust based on prior results.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, YOU'LL BRING

• Bachelor's degree in discipline appropriate to the project environment

• Experience in project management. Recognized technical skills and judgment

appropriate to the project discipline. Basic working knowledge of project management

tools and processes.

• Prior project management experience

Preferred

• MS/MBA degree

• PMP certification
