What You Will Be Doing

The Emerging Technology National Fleet Account Manager is on the leading edge of EV fleet technology and developing solutions support North America EV Fleet. This dynamic sales and development leader will manage and penetrate segments like Public Transit, Port Authorities, School Bus many other exciting areas for EV solutions. This business development role will work alongside technical engineers, solutions engineers and other business leaders to develop solutions that are scalable and accelerate fleet solutions for EV.  The success of early EV adoption is highly dependent on strong relationship and expertise in EV products and services. This is a great opportunity to grow into the EV Fleet industry.

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint
  • Develop and grow assigned and new Book of Business and utilize National/Local Sales and leadership to assist customers with their electrification plans
  • Strategize complex problems and present solutions that scale for all segments of fleet customers developing emerging technologies
  • Interact with OEM’s and infrastructure partners to assist customers in deployment and integration of electric charging and fleet tools
  • Assist customers with grants and incentives to utilize all programs available at the Federal, State and Utilities level
  • Work with customers to solution financing options if needed and provide guidance on best charging financing solutions
  • Create clear documentation of interactions, activities, detailed qualification notes, and recommendations for next steps.
  • Assist with the continual improvement and delivery of strong day- to-day processes and systems for lead generation.
  • Help develop efficient use of salesforce.com and the appropriate automation of process.
  • Provide marketing materials on company products and services to book of business customers
  • Work with the Sales and Marketing teams to assist in the follow-up activities related to specific marketing campaigns and webinars.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
  • Previous sales experience prospecting or managing a book of business.
  • The position holder must be a self-starter and able to work hard, independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact and communicate effectively and professionally internally and externally. The candidate must possess excellent grammar and writing skills.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and willingness to work to the benefit of others.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver on commitments
  • Desire to grow beyond current role, regardless of function.
  • A passion to disrupt the traditional automotive industry by helping promote the EV industry
  • Minimal travel expected for this role is 25%

  • US Remote / Midwest and South Central Territory

ChargePoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level is $58,500 to $132,250. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications and specific work location.
