We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who will be part of our product transformation. In more detail, this involves:

• Working with a brand-new Scrum team of Engineers on a greenfield project - the digital transformation of internal products
• Participating in the creation of a new product from scratch, working closely with the Product Team
• Developing software applications and solutions based on documented business and system
• requirements
• Understanding how applications operate, they are structured, and how customers use them
• Taking ownership of the delivery schedule and quality of work
• Providing input and estimates about the effort required to build desired functionality
• Design applications for stability, scalability, and performance. Design solutions to problematic
• programming
• Mentoring and coaching other Engineers from the Agile team

What You May Need to be Successful

• Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years in software development, with a strong background in SAAS platform environments.
• Proficient with Jenkins, Git, and Azure Cloud Services.
• Experience with frontend and backend development.
• Strong understanding of Microservices architecture and RESTful API integration.
• Familiarity with XML, XSLT, JSON, SOAP Web Services, and OAuth.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB is preferred.
• Experience with unit testing, Test driven Development (TDD), and Behavior driven Development (BDD)
• Experience with Mule ESB, SonarQube, and additional programming languages like C# and Java is advantageous.

This is a fully remote position (Work from Home) based in Mexico.
