We’re growing and we are looking to add a Staff Accountant to our fast-paced and scrappy Finance team.

In the Staff Accountant role, you will:
- Monthly Close. You’ll actively participate in month-end and year-end close processes in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), including maintaining the general ledger, preparing of journal entries and tracking of accounts receivables and accounts payables.
- Accounts Receivable. You’ll manage the accounts receivable function, including preparing and sending customer invoices, processing and posting payments, and following-up with collection activities.
- Accounts Payable. You’ll review, code, and process vendor invoices, expense reports, and accruals.
- Reconciliations. On a monthly basis, you will conduct account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and general ledger maintenance as well as be responsible for reconciling assigned balance sheets and income statement accounts.
- Payroll. You will be responsible for processing and allocating payroll entries across business units
- Process Maintenance and Resolution. You have the ability to identify process/control weaknesses and work independently to find resolutions. You’ll maintain company accounting procedures and processes and ensure compliance of all internal processes.
- Information Preparation. You’ll assist in the preparation of financial information for taxes, audits, regulatory agencies, and necessary stakeholders.
Who you are:
- 2-3 years of prior accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Accounting Professional. Knowledge of core accounting principles and how they relate to SaaS products and businesses. (CPA certification preferred, but not required.)
- Detailed Critical Thinker. You never miss a decimal point. You see beyond the numbers, thinking about how things fit into the big picture.
- Accounting Tech Savvy. You know your way around Sage Intacct, Bill.com, and Salesforce. Nexonia is a plus.
- Intermediate Excel User. You create and work with intricate spreadsheets, pivot tables, and complex formulas.
- Positive team player. You genuinely enjoy your work, bringing energy to the team everyday. Your positive, effective communication makes collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders a breeze.
- Process improvement extraordinaire. You love looking at how processes can be improved and made more efficient. You are not afraid to bubble those ideas up..
