Staff Accountant

Meloni Hribal Tratner LLP is currently seeking an experienced staff to join our established and dynamic practice. We are a full-service Los Angeles-based accounting firm that offers audit, tax, and consulting services to diverse clients in various industries. Our clients range from startups to middle-market enterprises, as well as entrepreneurs and prominent high net-worth individuals. We are among the largest accounting firms in Los Angeles. Responsibilities: • Responsible for planning and executing audit and tax engagements, while monitoring budgets and progress and reporting status to team members. • Involved in the preparation of federal and multi-state tax returns for various flow-through entities, high-net-worth individuals, and different types of business entities. • Prepare financial statements and related footnote disclosures. Aids in the research and analysis of accounting and tax issues. • Engage directly with client personnel to address and resolve tax and accounting-related matters. • Prepare and file tax documents in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. • Stay current with accounting standards and best practices.
