Staff Accountant [HYBRID]

Job Title:Staff Accountant Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our client and support core accounting functions and financial reporting activities. This hybrid, temporary-to-hire position based in Maple Shade, NJ, requires in-office presence approximately three times per month. The role focuses on account reconciliations, journal entries, invoice reviews, and collaboration with internal teams to support accurate and efficient accounting operations. Compensation: • $22–$27/hour (based on experience) Work Schedule: • Monday through Friday, normal business hours Key Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant: • Prepare complex account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations • Review departmental account reconciliations to support accurate financial reporting • Prepare and post journal entries as needed • Review and approve invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness • Partner with internal teams to update and enhance accounting processes • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and reporting • Support implementation of appropriate accounting for company operations • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned Qualifications and Skills for the Staff Accountant: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred • CPA or MBA preferred • 0–3 years of experience in accounting or financial data analysis • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills • Ability to collaborate across departments and adapt to changing priorities Why Join Us?
