The Staff Engineer is responsible for applying expertise in programming procedures to complex software experiments within the PrizePicks ecosystem
What you’ll do:
- Develop and execute growth strategies that drive user acquisition, retention, and revenue growth
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to identify growth opportunities and prioritize experiments
- Design and implement experiments to test new growth ideas and optimize existing channels
- Build and maintain the tools and systems necessary to measure and track our growth metrics accurately
- Analyze data to identify trends and insights that inform our growth strategy
- Develop and maintain the infrastructure required to support our growth initiatives
- Mentor and coach junior growth engineers on the team
What you have:
- 5+ years of experience in growth engineering or a related field
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful growth strategies
- Experience with data analysis, experimentation, and A/B testing
- Strong programming skills in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript)
- Experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Strong leadership skills and experience mentoring and coaching junior engineers
