Meet the Fuel Sales & Account Team:
The Fuel Sales & Accounts Team supports Upsideās largest industry vertical, with over 30,000 merchants across 48 states. We have 4 of the top 10 Fuel Brands as our preferred partners, along with many top U.S. wholesalers, marketers, and convenience store franchise groups. Even as we expand into new verticals, fuel is integral to our growth strategy, new market launch plans, and product development.
What you'll do:
- Lead the partner relationships for assigned Fuel brand, franchise, and wholesaler accounts across the U.S.
- Proactively manage existing Upside accounts to identify and implement new growth opportunities using relationship building and benefits selling
- Collaborate with internal Upside teams, including Product Marketing and Merchant Analytics, to ensure a positive and consistent merchant experience
- Maintain a deep understanding of Upsideās product features and functionality in order to demonstrate maximum value to merchants
What you need:
- 7+years of client-facing experience including 4+ years of enterprise experience in technology or retail fuels; Bachelorās degree required
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with experience addressing all levels of an enterprise organization (consisting of both formal and casual audiences)
- Strong quantitative skills, with the ability to translate analysis into relatable and compelling talking points and stories
- Polished consultative sales background, with experience turning client needs into solutions
- Ability to manage multiple projects and opportunities concurrently within a fast-paced environment with tight time constraints and a high bar for performance
- Adept collaboration skills when partnering with both onsite and remote team members
- Successful track record of achieving goals and exceeding quotas
- Solid understanding of sales technology tools (e.g. Salesforce, Outreach, Gong), as well as Google Suite and Microsoft Office
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
