Strategic Client Manager

The Strategic Client Manager will be responsible for growing the Company’s strategic business with a focus on building C-level relationships and identifying new business opportunities to grow Lob's revenue and organizational footprint.

As the Strategic Client Manager, you’ll…

  • Manage and grow the Lob's business with a number of clients.
  • Deliver on or above target performance against financial goals for new business, renewals and price increases.
  • Build a deep understanding of the client’s organizational footprint, structure, priorities and plans, documenting and managing these in a Key Account Plan for you and the Company to execute against.
  • Build strong and financially productive relationships with key, senior stakeholders across the strategic client organization, to gain the “inside track” on significant initiatives, projects and budgets that you can then sell in to.
  • Be a respected partner to clients and become the “go-to” person to help them solve their business challenges.

  • Self-confident and articulate individual with the gravitas to hold their own with senior client stakeholders, win their trust and confidence and gain proprietary insights into their budgets, plans and strategies.
  • Track record of over-achievement against new business and retention targets.
  • An existing network in the target client base
  • The ambition and potential to progress into a sales role over time

Compensation information
This role will have a 50/50 split of base pay and variable to combine as the OTE. 
(Tier 1) = San Francisco Bay Area

Base: $58,750.00 - 71,250.00 + Variable: $58,750.00 - $71,250.00


(Tier 2) = LA/Orange County/NYC Metro Area 

$55,812.00 - $67,687.00 + Variable: $55,812.00 - $67,687.00


(Tier 3) = San Diego

$52,875.00 - $64,125.00 + Variable: $52,875.00 - $64,125.00


(Tier 4) = Colorado 

$49,937.00 - $60,562.00 + Variable: $49,937.00 - $60,562.00

(Tier 5) = Other geographic areas 120+ miles from one of the above mentioned geo’s 

$47,000.00 - $57,000.00 + Variable: $47,000.00 - $57,000.00

Salary is one part of total compensation, which also includes equity, perks and competitive benefits.
