As the Strategic Finance Associate at Health Gorilla you'll report to the SVP of Finance on our Finance team. You will collaborate across the organization to help analyze results and help improve the future success of the Company. This new role requires working with all levels of the Company to deliver accurate reporting of metrics. You will also work with senior leadership in Corporate Development opportunities.
What you will do at Health Gorilla- Work with department leadership to set top line, budget, and headcount targets. Help with monthly reporting to reconcile budgets vs. actuals to ensure that our financial plan remains on track
- Manage company wide model by consolidating inputs from teams across the entire company and publishing forecasts that go to the Board and our investors
- Help create our Board materials, and materials for future fundraising
- Conduct analysis into important trends that influence our financial forecast. Use the results of these analysis to update the forecast, and partner with product and go-to-market teams to assess any possible effects for their strategies
- Create financial models from scratch to size plans or corporate development efforts and the investment required to achieve them to help business leaders make Return on investment-based trade-offs
- Two plus years of finance experience in investment banking, consulting or SaaS FP&A
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
- Analytical skills. This includes the ability to create financial models from scratch and an interest in conducting analysis to better understand important goals and plans
- You are comfortable operating at a fast pace and own projects to completion
- Collaborate with teams across the company and communicate financial information with non-financial audiences
- Experience with financial planning tools (e.g. Vareto), Salesforce, and Analytics tools such as SQL are a big plus
- Health Gorilla takes a market-based approach to pay, and the base salary range for this role is $84,000 to $132,000, based on experience and geography. Please note that ranges may be modified at any time, and there is no guarantee offers will be at the top of a posted range.
