Strategic Finance Lead (Corporate Reporting)

We're looking for a passionate and analytically minded professional to join the Strategic Finance team. Strategic Finance is responsible for driving company strategy, empowering executive decision making, and guiding the company towards achieving its goals. The group is responsible for informing company strategy, owning planning and budgeting, and performing financial analyses throughout the company. You will have a unique opportunity to work cross-functionally and use quantitative insights to drive better decision-making across the whole organization.
What you'll do

• Empower Finance Org and cross functional partner organizations with timely, accurate and comprehensive view into Affirm's financial results
• Help draft investor presentations, board meeting materials, and SEC filings
• Lead migration of offline reporting in Excel and Google Sheets to Anaplan
• Partner across Strategic Finance to identify reporting pain points and implement solutions
• Actively contribute to cross-functional and company wide systems related initiatives
• Support key strategic finance processes such as annual planning, monthly forecasts, etc.
• Interface with various functional departments across multiple Regions to improve reporting and analysis requirements
• Develop different views of the P&L to provide leadership with actionable business insights and recommendations to drive growth while optimizing costs

• Excellent communicators who seek out the opportunity - and accountability - that comes with being front and center with company executives
• High attention to detail but an equally important ability to see the big picture and evaluate analyses with strategic business context
• 4+ years experience in Strategic Finance, FP&A, investment banking or similar analytical roles (consulting, data science, etc.)
• Excellent excel ability (you should be prepared for a financial model case study)
• Experience with Adaptive, Anaplan, or related planning tool required
