About This Role

Are you ready to make a difference? Parallel is seeking a Strategic Operations Manager to work directly with our Chief Operating Officer in managing our clinical network and other parts of our organization over the next year and beyond. Day-to-day, you’ll oversee the capacity and licensure of our care providers (including psychologists, psychometrists, therapists, and more!) to help better serve our clients. Once acclimated, you will play a major role in partnering with our talent acquisition, sales and marketing leaders to develop and roll out recruiting strategies and initiatives, as well as find ways to help improve and expand our services.

What You’ll Do
  • Work cross-functionally with our operations, sales, marketing, and clinical recruiting teams to help ensure our providers have sufficient capacity to support our clients 
  • Work with our sales and marketing teams to form data–driven projections that can be used to inform future provider hiring needs
  • Manage the cross-licensing process for our existing providers who may be open to working in new roles or states where they do not currently have licensure
  • Conduct cohort analyses of our current and future provider hiring classes to help build out our ever-improving employee experience
  • Be proactive in exploring new opportunities to use the data we collect in ways that can streamline efficiency within clinical operations and across the organization 
  • Contribute to our expansion strategy as we consider new opportunities in different geographies and along different service lines
  • Partner with hiring leaders to identify job requirements and ensure that the sales and implementation teams have sufficiently identified the needs we will be required to fill
  • Assist in the development, improvement, and implementation of talent-related strategies
  • Track and regularly report on metrics, including available provider capacity by state and service line, time to successful cross licensure, provider retention, etc.
What You’ll Need 

Ideal candidates will be innovative, forward-looking individuals with prior experience in a high-growth startup! All in all, a great fit for this role will have:

  • Prior experience in a high growth start-up or other fast-paced dynamic work environment 
  • Prior experience working with tools such as Airtable, Microsoft Office Suite, and other data management platforms
  • Demonstrated experience working with senior leadership to achieve company and/or business unit objectives   
  • Experience analyzing data from various sources to to gain actionable insights and carrying next steps through to implementation
  • Strong communication skills to summarize and present findings from data analysis cross-functionally in a clear, concise and action-oriented manner 
  • The ability to multitask, quickly get up to speed on new areas, and a willingness to operate outside of your comfort zone 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Stellar organization and time management skills
  • A strong sense of integrity, professionalism, and the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • A passion for diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging
  • Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in business, strategy, economics, operations, etc. or equivalent work experience
  • Bonus points if you have experience working in a clinical operations role 
  • Bonus points if you have worked previously in health care or education 
  • Bonus points if you have worked previously in management consulting or finance
