Strategic Relationship Manager

In a strong, outbound hunting role, the Strategic Relationship Manager will report to the Director of Sales Development and work in collaboration with the VP of Strategic Sales and the rest of the Strategic Sales Team to develop and execute innovative outreach methods, with the goal of creating a consistent flow of new opportunities for targeted companies over $10B in annual revenue.

As the Strategic Relationship Manager, you’ll…

  • Receive direction from the Strategic Sales team on high-priority accounts
  • Research the business and personal goals of these accounts and their respective budget holders
  • Define a plan to ultimately secure introductions or conversations with those accounts
  • Activate the Lob team, their networks, and marketing resources in support and execution of your outreach plans
  • Create a forward-looking schedule with supporting communication to define and drive attendance at executive-oriented events
  • Frequently initiate conversation personally with the Strategic Accounts (utilizing call, email, social and other methods);
  • Work with the Strategic Sales Team and Marketing partners to refine messaging and outreach processes, to include events and on-site visits.
  • Build and maintain relationships with c-level executives, internally and externally

What will you bring to this role…

  • At least 2 years of Business Development, Outbound, Recruiting or related experience (“successfully generated pipeline personally”);
  • At least 4 years of experience managing executive relationships and communication (“successfully gained executive trust personally”)
  • Comfortability making presentations to an executive boardroom (“capable of owning the executive room”)

Base: $58,750.00 - 71,250.00 + Variable: $58,750.00 - $71,250.00


(Tier 2) = LA/Orange County/NYC Metro Area 

$55,812.00 - $67,687.00 + Variable: $55,812.00 - $67,687.00


(Tier 3) = San Diego

$52,875.00 - $64,125.00 + Variable: $52,875.00 - $64,125.00


(Tier 4) = Colorado 

$49,937.00 - $60,562.00 + Variable: $49,937.00 - $60,562.00


(Tier 5) = Other geographic areas 120+ miles from one of the above mentioned geo’s 

$47,000.00 - $57,000.00 + Variable: $47,000.00 - $57,000.00
