Job Description
- Collect data necessary to run successful sourcing events, such as spend data, stakeholder requirements, stakeholder budget, supply base, supplier financials, market dynamics and trends, and other data specific to each project
- Conduct analysis on data to help stakeholders understand cost models, savings forecasts, pricing and qualitative proposals, and other data specific to each project
- Review contractual and non-contractual documents
- Partner with the Finance team to calculate overall project cost/savings
- Work cross functionally with Legal, Risk and Compliance to execute agreements
- Assist in the development of RFx such as Requests For Information (RFIs), Request For Proposals (RFPs), Request For Bids and all accompanying documents
- Assist in the preparation of the negotiation strategy and documents used in supplier meetings
- Manage updates to savings and other trackers
- Support the Sourcing Manager in establishing a high functioning, best-in-class Deal Desk for driving impact and delivering savings
- High level of interest in Technology, procurement and sourcing
- Able to navigate ambiguity and remain resilient through ups and downs
- Financial acumen and experience or experience working closely with Finance and Accounting
- Experience working in a metrics-driven or data-driven environment
- Ability to provide insight for data and reporting
- Detailed oriented and process driven
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- A very high level of self-motivation, initiative, passion, excitement to work cross-functionally and excellent interpersonal skills are a MUST have for this role!
- 3-5 years of experience of direct IT sourcing or related field experience
For candidates hired in San Francisco metro, New York City metro, or Seattle metro, the expected salary/On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for the role is currently $115,400 - $135,800 - $156,200.
For candidates hired in the following locations: Austin (TX) metro, Chicago metro, California (outside SF metro), Colorado, Connecticut (outside NYC metro), Delaware, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York (outside NYC metro), Oregon, Pennsylvania (outside NYC or DC metro), Washington (outside Seattle metro) and Washington DC metro, the expected salary/On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for the role is currently $103,900 - $122,200 - $140,500.
For candidates hired in all other US locations, the expected salary/On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for this role is currently $92,300 - $108,600 - $124,900.

Dropbox takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location/metropolitan area, skillset, and peer compensation. Dropbox uses the zip code of an employee’s remote work location to determine which metropolitan pay range we use.
Salary/OTE is just one component of Dropbox’s total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
