As a Strategy Competitive Analyst you will work cross-functionally to support Anaplan’s global GTM efforts. You'll work with GTM Strategy & Planning internal customers such as Sales, Presales & Marketing to build sales collateral that equips the field with Anaplan’s value differentiators relative to competitors. Additionally, you will be comfortable working with large volumes of data to analyse our win/loss performance across several dimensions that will inform GTM strategy and product decisions.
You will also have excellent communication skills, seek to understand the perspective of participants when in meetings, speak up to drive conversations, and be able to form good relationships with our internal partners.
This is a fully remote role in India.Â
Your Impact- Gain a deep understanding of Anaplan’s product capabilities and competitive landscape across Finance, Sales and Supply Chain planning
- Partner with Customer Marketing on the development of competitive win customer case studies
- Partner with Solutions and Product Marketing on developing battle cards & other competitive content as well as delivering updates and enablement for sales and presales
- Respond to ad hoc questions and requests from the field on competitors and best practice competitive selling
- Proactively publish competitive news and intel to internal collaboration tools
- Oversee data rationalisation and cleanup of opportunity data coming from Salesforce in order to build a credible dataset that informs our competitive win/loss metrics
- Analyses and reviews trends found from modelling to advise other lines of business such as GTM sales plays, marketing campaigns and product roadmap decisions
- Develops and presents detailed reports and conclusions for leadership and internal teams
- Accommodate ad-hoc requests from leadership
- Perform deal reviews with sales team
- Proven experience either as an implementation consultant or end user of Anaplan, Oracle/Hyperion, SAP BPC/IBP, IBM TM1, o9, Kinaxis, or similar planning solutions is advantageous
- An understanding of multi-dimensional business modelilng for planning & forecasting functions
