Strategy & Operations Intern (Summer 2023)

Ripple’s Strategic Initiative team is are looking for a Strategy and Ops intern to join the team. The team supports with managing business operations, build the firm’s corporate strategy and lead strategic initiatives and partnerships. It has a unique vantage point of looking across all functional areas and the overall strategic direction of the company.  

As an intern, the program offers impactful, project-based work experience in a collaborative, creative environment where you work side by side with industry experts. 

We are seeking a self-sufficient and detailed-orientated person for a summer 2023 internship. Range of tasks will be extensive and every day could be a different challenge. You’ll be performing detailed research in various assignments, tear down a feature, product, service or company and present your findings and recommendations. You’ll also will help drive business initiatives critical to the ongoing growth of the team and be responsible for developing a deep understanding of business model and internal processes.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Support with weekly leadership dashboards in collaboration with cross functional teams
• Ensure company’s OKR metrics are accurately reported and analyzed
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional initiatives to ensure operational alignment
• Identify and implement process improvements to scale the company’s operations
• Conduct market research and drive insights
• Work with internal teams in supporting the broader company’s efforts

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Currently enrolled in MBA program with a Bachelor's/Master's degree in a Business related field
• 0 - 3 years experience in markets, finance, management consulting, or technology
• A basic understanding of trading markets: traditional, crypto or both
• Ability to work cross functionally with internal stakeholders
• Passion for fintech, markets, and Ripple’s vision of the Internet of Value
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence
• BS/BA in Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or another analytic discipline
